Walter Andreas Kernitzer was born on December 27th, 1969, and currently works at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt. From 1985 to 2000, he played in various bands specializing in grunge, blues, funk, and soul. During his 15-year study with Egbert Götzinger at the Gustav Mahler Music School, he focused on jazz.
He also spent some time abroad on the Balearic Islands, where he performed in concerts with renowned artists such as Sheela Gathright (Szenario), Molly Duncan (Average White Band), Norbert Fimpel (Joe Cocker, James Brown, John Miles, etc.), and Arturo Jorge Suarez (Charly Garcia, Brujas Blues). He also had the opportunity to jam with the world-famous "felt hat wearer" Slash Hudson.
Currently, he is collaborating with the fantastic singer Andrea Habich.
